About

BBYO “aspires to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. With a network of hundreds of chapters cross North America and in 42 countries around the world, BBYO reaches over 80,000 teens annually and serves as the Jewish community’s largest and most valuable and most valuable platform for delivering fun, meaningful, affordable experiences that inspire a lasting connection to the Jewish people.”

One of these chapters, in the Great Midwest Region (GMR), is us: Jane Beber Abramson (JBA) BBG #2514. To be a B’nai B’rith Girl (BBG) is to discover a part of your Jewish identity and create lifelong bonds with other girls like you. The chapter JBA was founded in 2016 and is filled with Jewish teenage girls from the North Suburbs of Chicago in grades 8 through 12. JBA offers fun events weekly and is a welcoming chapter for every Jewish girl wanting a deeper connection to other teens and to their own identity. BBYO is about finding who you are and surrounding yourself with empowering, influential people who care and want to make a change.
